viimeaikaisia väkerryksiä

Viime aikoina kutomiset ovat kyllä jääneet niin minimiin, että tämän blogin olemassaolokin on jo päässyt lähes unohtumaan. Omaan tarkoitukseen ei ole juurikaan mitään valmistunut mutta lähettelin viime vuoden lopulla ja tämän vuoden alussa pieniä yllätyspaketteja tuonne Enklantiin päin. Tässä yhden paketin sisältö.

This was one of the packages I sended to Jen in England. She liked red and natural colours so I thought that pink and brown would be a safe choice. I made that hat for her cute daughter Isabella.

As always, I really liked the package! I like all the colours. She did make the effort for this. There was also a little letter and a picture of her. It is really nice to know who send me all these packages and emails. I enjoyed this SP very much and I'm happy that I got to know this nice person. I hope we can stay in contact after this :)

Christmas present

I got a wonderful BIG package from my SP!:) There was five packages in the box. Yes, five! And also lovely Christmas card and Christmas decorations. Inside packages were Werther's original sweets (gone already, they were really good..I didn't know that they make soft sweets also), soap and handmade needlecase! This was really "needed gift" because my needles and hooks are all over the house. My husband is very happy now. ;) I have tested his patience with those needles. Now he can sit down with a peace of mind... Inside that needlecase were measuring tape, needles and those pearly things... I don't know the word in English. The things that you can use to mark your knit. :) There were also four balls of beautiful yarn, in shades of light blue, grey, white and pink. I like those a lot. And last but not least, little angel for a little one. Thank you so much SP, this was more than enough.

Sain Secret Pal-postia jouluksi. Paketista paljastui jopa viisi lahjapakettia! Lisäksi mukana oli joulukortti ja olkisia kuusenkoristeita. Lahjapaketit sisälsivät Werther's Original karkkeja, saippuaa ja puikkojen säilytysjutskan (tuli todella tarpeeseen!), joka sisälsi mittanauhan, puikkoja ja neulemerkkaajia vai mitäs ne oikein olikaan. :) Lisäksi paketissa oli neljä kerää kauniin väristä lankaa sekä pieni suojelusenkeli pienokaiselle. Kylläpäs tällainen paketti ilahduttaa kovasti :)

The other one I have finished. Slippers are still unfinished..but I'm working on it.:)

I got a package

My SP was superfast! I got a really lovely package which included two balls of Katia-yarn (Scotch tweed and Martinica). I like that green one especially. Katia-yarns are new thing for me so I'm happy to try them out. There was also a birthday card which was written in Finnish (how thoughtful :) and dark chocolate, yum. (<---by the way, there isn't anything left anymore ;).

Inspiring colours

Kylläpäs on herkullinen väriyhdistelmä. Jonkin sortin raidallinen myssy noissa väreissä olisi ihana. Minulla taitaa olla vain niin monta juttua kesken, että on turha aloittaa mitään uutta. (Kuvassa on siis luomiväri Lumene Natural Code, eye dramatizer). Siitä niskanlämmittimestä ei muuten tullutkaan mitään. Jämälanka loppui jo ennen työn puoltaväliä. Arvioiva silmä hieman petti. Höh..

Great colour combination. Some kind of stripey hat would be wonderful in those colours. But I'm working on so many knits right now that it's better to forgot it for now. (That's an eyeshadow in the picture: Lumene Natural Code, Eye Dramatizer). By the way, that neckwarmer didn't work out. I run out of yarn too soon and I don't want to buy that yarn anymore. I have to figure out something else.
